Vision
Statement: |
| |
It is
the vision of the Storehouse Ministry to help fulfill and be a part
of our Pastor’s vision and to be a lighthouse to a lost and
dying world. It is our desire to help those who have a need in our
church and in our community. We desire to not only meet their physical
needs but to minister to their spiritual needs as well. |
 |
| |
Since
God has called our church to be a lighthouse, we feel that the Storehouse
is also in that lighthouse. In this day and hour in which we live,
it seems that difficult circumstances strike all social levels. As
the needs of people in our community increase, we need to increase
our efforts to meet those needs. It is our desire to help those who
truly have a need in our church and in our community. "If there
be among you a poor man of one of thy brethren within any of thy gates
in thy land which
the
Lord thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not harden thine heart, nor
shut thine hand from thy poor brother: But thou shalt open thine
hand wide unto him, and shalt surely lend him sufficient for his
need, in that which he wanteth." Deuteronomy 15:7-8
The Storehouse Ministry wants to minister to needs
of the soul, as well as needs of the body. While helping the needs
of the body, we will acquaint those we are helping with the teachings
of our Lord Jesus Christ and pray for and with them that they will
be saved.
Through the Storehouse Ministry, many families have
received food and clothing and our church members have received
assistance in meeting higher rent and utility bills, as needed.
