Visision Statement:
The goal of the Men’s Ministry of Community Pentecostal Church is to provide strong leadership – to lead men into prayer, wisdom, and support of other men. It’s about the older men teaching the younger men. Men that are going through tough times and situations are able to turn to seasoned, prayerful men for support. We are about bearing each others burdens and being there for one another.

“Bear ye one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.” (Galatians 6:2)

Activities:

Men’s Dinners: Throughout the year, the men meet intermittently for dinners. These occasions include dinner, fellowship, praise and worship, a short lesson in the Word (usually on a men’s-related issue), group prayer, individual prayer, and a general atmosphere of edification.

Cumberland Retreat: A three-day men’s trip to Lake Cumberland is held annually in late August. This retreat includes numerous opportunities for fun, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. Most of the recreational activities are, of course, connected to the lake and include swimming, boating, tubing, fishing, and a variety of others. As many as three houseboats are rented for this retreat. One of the major parts of the fellowship is the exceptional cuisine enjoyed for three days. Perhaps the most important part of the trip is the spiritual refreshing which the men receive through prayer, the Word, personal ministry, and praise and worship.
