Proverbs
22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and
when he is old, he will not depart from it.” We believe by
presenting the Word of God to children in an exciting way and by
leading them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we
can train a generation in the way it should go.
We
also believe teaching children about ministry is not enough. Instead,
by involving them in service to others through effective ministries
that they enjoy and allowing them to see their importance, they
can know that Jesus can work through them right now! Children are
not only the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today and
members of the Lord’s army.
All-Star Kid’s
church is designed to parallel our adult services in many ways.
Each service has a time for praise and worship, prayer, offerings,
special music, Bible teaching…etc.
We also have puppets, Bible Characters, Scripture Memory, object
lessons, altar services and much, much more. Regular services are
held at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday.
We have implemented
Care Teams for the kids. Each has a Care Leader and a team of dedicated
adults who lead by example. These teams help the child to connect
one-on-one with the ministry.
