A Message from Our Pastor:

Ministering to the needs of children is very important to us here at Community Family Church. I’m excited about every aspect of the children’s ministry at CFC. From the creative décor of each classroom to the dedicated teaching staff, you’ll find a commitment to excellence that reflects our desire to reach and teach children in these Last Days. We care about each and every member of your family and invite you to look at all the different ministries we offer. We want to bless you and your family and encourage you to become involved as we endeavor to build the kingdom of God together.

Welcome to All-Stars Kid’s Ministries:

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.” We believe by presenting the Word of God to children in an exciting way and by leading them into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we can train a generation in the way it should go.

We also believe teaching children about ministry is not enough. Instead, by involving them in service to others through effective ministries that they enjoy and allowing them to see their importance, they can know that Jesus can work through them right now! Children are not only the church of tomorrow, they are the church of today and members of the Lord’s army.

All-Star Kid’s church is designed to parallel our adult services in many ways. Each service has a time for praise and worship, prayer, offerings, special music, Bible teaching…etc.
We also have puppets, Bible Characters, Scripture Memory, object lessons, altar services and much, much more. Regular services are held at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday.

We have implemented Care Teams for the kids. Each has a Care Leader and a team of dedicated adults who lead by example. These teams help the child to connect one-on-one with the ministry.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call our Children’s ministry Directors, Mike and Joan Clark, at 859-356-8851 ext. 210.

ASKM 5 Core Values:

Our belief in God compels us to

  • Love
To love everyone unconditionally as Christ loves us.
  • Respect
    Treat everyone with absolute respect.
  • Prayer
Just as we have specific goals for Bible learning, we are formulating goals for discipling the children in the area of prayer. The goals are both developmental, and coordinate with the curriculum.
  • Godliness
To live an exemplary life that is Christ-like and pleasing to Him. Be who God made you to be, be real.
  • Growth
As our physical bodies need a healthy diet and consistent exercise to stay healthy, so we need to practice spiritual disciplines to keep our spirits healthy. Therefore, we strongly encourage daily prayer, Bible study, and fellowship, as well as telling others about Jesus.

In addition ASKM volunteers should also have these core values:

  • To train
  • To motivate
  • To enable
  • To empower
  • To be effective
